Whether before or after the homecoming game, Redbone Magic Brewing Company is the place to start your reunion weekend. Savor a locally crafted beer, wood fired pizza, or any of Redbone’s other tasty menu items while listening to great music from a live, local band. Join us on the patio as we reunite with fellow classmates in this very casual setting.

Join fellow fans as we cheer on the 2023 Texas High Tiger football team in their homecoming game against the Mt. Pleasant tigers. Action begins at Grim Stadium on
Friday, September 29th at 7:30 PM
Parking is available at THS Student Parking Lot, 4001 Summerhill Rd. From there, fans will be shuttled to and from the game with trips continuously. Seating we be within a section reserved especially for former students.
Let’s show Mt. Pleasant that the TEXAS HIGH TIGERS dominate the field!
Tee Up for Tiger Golf
Begin your Saturday morning with a round of golf at the historic Texarkana Country Club!
At its opening in 1914, the Club had a nine-hole course, but has undergone many improvements since. Today, the eighteen-hole course is maintained in tournament condition throughout the year and contains a beautiful lake, meandering creeks, tree-lined fairways and abundant sand and grass bunkers. It is known as “little Augusta” by Byron Nelson who served as Club Pro in 1934.
If you enjoy the game and would like to play at TCC with other classmates, be sure to register. Teams will be created from those showing an interest in participation.
Texas High School Tour
Since our graduation in 1973, Texas High has undergone many physical changes (as we all have!). Additionally, there are a multitude of course options that were not available to us, some allowing for both high school and college credits.
Join us for the Texas High School tour and travel the halls we walked so many years ago. Relive fond memories of our time at THS, while learning of changes that current students will experience as they work to complete their course loads for graduation.
Picnic at Bringle Lake West
Please join us at Bringle Lake West for a catered lunch of barbecue from Good Eats Catering Company. The pavilion is reserved for us, and covered playground equipment is close by. We will also have access to two sand volleyball courts, single and tandem kayaks for rent and a beautiful, wooded walking trail. Or you may prefer to fish off the pier. Whatever suits your mood, there’s sure to be a classmate ready to join you!
Owned by Albert and Kamilah Golston-Wrightner, Good Eats Catering Company serves great barbecue and other delectable foods to hungry folks throughout the Ark-La-Tex. Whether serving a catered meal to famished Cooper Tire employees or working from their food truck at a Boy Scout celebration or other local event, Good Eats always has something appetizing to offer.
Let us know that you plan to have lunch with us at Bringle Lake to ensure that Albert has plenty for you! Otherwise, you may go away hungry!
Texarkana Mural
Photo Opportunity
Multi-award winning street artist, Darlene Taylor, will be present at her "Proud to be from HERE Texarkana" mural at 221 Texas Blvd from 6PM. Come by to meet Darlene, who has painted over 200 murals in six states.
Have your photo taken alone or with a group of friends showing your Texarkana pride!
Golden Gala
Our reunion weekend main event will be the Golden Gala at Silvermoon on Broad. This beautifully restored building is the perfect venue for our Golden Anniversary! Whether visiting in the Great Hall or dancing on the Singer Courtyard, Silvermoon will provide an elegant ambiance to our fellowship.
Renowned DJ Fabienne Thrash will provide music from all genres for listening and dancing. Also, Fabe will take requests! If there’s a particular song you’d like to hear from 1969 – 1973, please text the name / artist to the co-chairs no later than September 9th. Submissions will be forwarded to Fabienne for our reunion playlist.
Marjorie Slimer, a well-known local caterer, will provide delectable hors d’oeuvres for our enjoyment throughout the evening. Options will include both savory and sweet items and are sure to please.
Random group photos will be taken Saturday night by professional photographer Kevin Goodman. Photos will be available for download from the Feel It Good website at no cost.
Not ready to end the evening at 11? Join us on the patio at Hilton Garden Inn as we continue the celebration!
Farewell Brunch
Our reunion weekend activities conclude with the Farewell Brunch at Verona. Located in downtown Texarkana, Verona offers excellent made-from-scratch food in a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. After reconnecting with old friends, this will be the perfect ending to the hustle and bustle of our time together before heading back to our day-to-day lives. Please plan to include this event in your schedule, if at all possible.
